Delete your account

Request deletion on the web

1. Tap Delete account on the web and sign in with the email and password for this app.
2. On the Security page, choose Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm. Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.

Request deletion in the Android app

1. Open Sohum Learning AI and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm. Your account is removed in that same request.

Data that is deleted

Deletion removes the account and the records tied to it, including:

• Email, password hash, and profile (name, board, class, stream, goals, preferred language)
• Study plans, lessons, quiz attempts, mastery, mistakes, revision schedule, and tutor chats
• Career profile, interview prep, applications, and saved answers
• Comments, likes, and saves you left on shared interview answers

This is a permanent hard delete. We do not keep a copy of your profile or learning history after the request succeeds.

Data that is not deleted

• A Google or Facebook login you used to sign in stays with that provider. We only remove the Sohum Learning AI account linked to it.
• Shared curriculum, exam papers, and interview questions that are not yours are unchanged.
• Short-lived server logs may still contain a request identifier for a limited operational period. They are not used to restore an account.

How long it takes

Account and associated records are deleted when the request succeeds — typically within a few seconds. There is no separate waiting period and no recovery after confirmation.
